Art and DT Curriculum Lead
At St Aidan's Catholic Primary School we use the Access Art split curriculum alongside DT which is taught half termly.
In Art, we hope that every child leaves our school having found an area of Art they really enjoy and is engaging to them. This may be drawing, making designing or talking about Art. We aim to support children to develop skills, confidence and enjoyment for Art through engaging and exciting lessons/projects. While the Art curriculum at St Aidan's is skills based, this is balanced with experiential knowledge as each project takes pupils on a journey.
